Clos Roussely is in the small village of Angé in the Cher Valley. Le Clos dates from the 13th century when it belonged to the village château. In 1917 it was bought by Anatole Roussely, the great grandfather of Vincent, who now runs this 8ha domaine. The Clos is directly above the winery that is carved out of the local limestone. Vinified in stainless steel, the 2019 is mid-lemon in colour, with a ripe citric and gooseberry nose, good concentration and attractively textured with crisp acidity in the finish.
