Intensely green and fresh aromatically, with notes of white pepper, mint and the feeling of stepping into a herb garden or greenhouse. The palate is strikingly lean and racy, delivering bright citrus and mouth-puckering acidity. It’s vivid and incisive, though at this stage it feels a little green and perhaps slightly thin, perhaps hinting at the difficult vintage. It's a Sancerre that will really please true Sauvignon Blanc lovers, and fans of brisk fresh styles.
