Immediately more intriguing than this domaine's non-vintage brut, this has spice and warm honey aromas as well as toasted bread and yeasty notes. The Chardonnay portion of the base wine has spent a bit of time in barrel, giving both a toasty sweetness and a structure to the wine. Being brut nature, it remains zingy and fresh, with the soft caress of a fine mousse infused with white blossom and honeysuckle.
