Domaine Jean Teiller was created in the 1950s by Léon Millet but it was Denise, Léon's daughter, and her husband Jean Teiller who really developed the estate, which is based in the small town of Menetou-Salon. Their son Jean-Jacques joined them in 1986. Jean died in 1996. The 18-hectare domaine is now run by Monique and Jean-Jacques Teiller along with Patricia, their daughter, and her husband Olivier Luneau. 11 hectares are planted with Sauvignon Blanc and 7ha with Pinot Noir. The domaine has been certified organic since 2017. The 2019 Domaine red tasted in late January had very attractive easy drinking red fruits and was already very approachable even though an unfinished wine.
