A Pessac red produced by a producer dates back to the 15th century. A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with a dash of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Roasted coffee, blackberry, vanilla and smoky nose thanks to 14 months of ageing in French oak (30% new). Robust blackberry, blackcurrant fruits, Christmas cake and prunes on the palate with earthy, still-unyielding tannins. A wine that calls for food.
