Château d'Esclans, Whispering Angel, Côtes de Provence, 2021

A lighter, fresher style than Miraval, Whispering Angel is a better rosé to drink on its own, whereas Miraval has more substance to stand up to a variety of dishes. Here, there are plenty of primary red fruits, with a creamy character and some lovely acidity.
