Planted on blue clay and limestone, the grapes here are hand-harvested and destemmed, with three weeks of maceration before spending a year maturing in tank. This is lush and fleshy with plum and blackberry fruit and a spicy vein running through it. Serrated, saline tannins and keen acidity complete a tight, sinewy package, showing a good sense of tension.
