Not easy to judge at this stage, but highly promising. It has pretty, oak-tinged strawberry and red berry fruits with balanced acidity that has a distinct mineral edging and a good sense of energy that should help thrust it forward. A mineral draw on the finish and alcohol that is high but not overly imbalanced - this should be good in time.

Owned by Domaine de Cristia, this is pure Grenache grown on sand at the lieu-dit La Guigasse, aged for 24 months in demi-muid.
