Aldi's best budget white wine is still Pierre Jaurant's Côtes de Gascogne (2022: £4.99), but for a bit more personality, this is a great fridge-door go-to. Bright acidity lifts a fleshy, round palate of spiced pear, greengage, ripe melon and almonds, making it a great match for chicken fajitas, dhal or paella.
