Sloping vineyards on gravel with marine blue marls beneath have produced the fruit for this particularly lovely expression of Rasteau. It's 90% matured in tank and 10% in large barrels, resulting in a pure, vibrant, vinous and highly drinkable wine with lifted violet and raspberry fruits leading to a pure, lengthy, shimmering finish. Structured but not stiff. A good buy.
