Sourced from organically-grown 60-year-old goblet vines in the Dentelles de Montmirail, the fruit for this wine is destemmed and fermented in concrete using indigenous yeasts, then aged for 12 months. There's a little touch of dark chocolate over the raspberry and damson fruit on the nose, while the palate is generous and rich in fruit coulis flavours pepped up by vibrant raspberry acidity and little toothsome tannins. A long finish displays its lovely balance.
