Domaine des Pierres Sèches, Blanc, St-Joseph, Rhône 2018

Gorgeous nose, with subtle fresh herbal notes, like dill, along with some polished oak. Full-bodied, rich and opulent, a decidedly oaked style, with notes of caramel and vanilla. Long finish. The oak is really quite generously applied, and at this stage the wine feels very rich. Alcohol is a touch on the high side.
