Domaine du Biguet, St-Péray, Rhône 2021

There's a dab of honey to the subtle pear aromas; quite a discrete nose. Fairly full-bodied, it certainly has the Marsanne breadth on the palate. Finishes quite savoury and dry. Touch of classic Marsanne bitterness on the finish. From 30-year-old vines grown on steep limestone slopes, hand harvested, fermented and briefly matured in stainless steel.
