Brambly and pure, with a hint of smoky reduction for now, and a meaty back- note, like medium-rare steak. Great tannic finesse, and freshness at its core. A perfectly balanced, richly textured wine that is enjoyable now, but will take on real complexity in time; if you can, start drinking this vintage from 2026 when it will be more obviously worthy of its high score. 70% Syrah, 30% Grenache, from 50-year-old vines grown on deep clay soils, yields of 20hl/ha. Fermented in concrete, aged in old barrels for 18-20 months.
