Domaine Stéphane Rousset, Crozes-Hermitage, Rhône, 2017

From Erôme in the northern, granitic part of Crozes-Hermitage. Gentle plum and blackberry, with sugared-almond sweetness on the nose. Only just medium-bodied. Brisk palate with very fine tannins and good acidity, vibrancy and balance. Pleasing saline finish. It will happily last 12 more months, but no longer.
