Grown on sandstone and marl, the fruit for this wine is hand-picked, destemmed and fermented with indigenous yeasts then bottled without filtration or fining after maturation in old foudres. It's a beautifully natural expression of strawberry and raspberry fruits, with a juicy slick of crushed berries flowing across your tongue, ending with some massy, textural tannins. A perfectly balanced, joyful and drinkable expression of 2017 Gigondas with incredible purity.
