Yves Cuilleron, Les Vignes d'à Côté Marsanne, Collines Rhodaniennes, Rhône 2021
(at United Kingdom, 17 Sep 2022)
Drinking Window: 2022 - 2023
A subtle touch of hazelnut and honeysuckle to the gentle pear fruits. Silky and broad on the tongue, but not terribly full-bodied, it's counteracted by some positive Marsanne bitter notes, but the finish is short. Hand harvested, partly grown on granitic soils, partly alluvial. One third aged in foudre, one third in barrique and one third in tank, for seven months on the lees.
