Massive amounts of black fruit tinged with baking spice, cedar, dried leaves and truffles. It's thick, massy, with dark bitter chocolate and lots of roundness, plumpness and richness. A huge wine that's pulsing with ripe fruit. I find it lacks some acidity, and therefore feels a touch heavy. Matured for 40 months in 600L barrels.
