A very lovely, softly sweet wine from Domaine Gensac. A blend of Sauvignon Gris, Sémillon, Petit Manseng and Petit Courbu, it is almost like a late harvest wine with beautiful honey, tropical fruit and floral aromas. The palate is smooth and silky giving apricot, pear, apple, lime, pineapple and floral honey flavours with enough acidity to make this a balanced and fresh sweet wine. A minty note comes in on the finish, like many of their wines, leaving the palate feeling clean and revived. A great choice when you want something aromatic and not too sweet to pair with dessert, or even to have on its own to savour the delicacy. This is an excellent addition to their already impressive roster of red, white and rosé wines, as well as their fine Armagnacs. Impressive.
