Such an expressive nose here, brimming with candied lemon, chamomile, pineapple, apricot and honeyed touches, so nuanced. This is a blend of Sauvignon Gris and Petit Courbu, a grape from Gascony in southwest France that lends a citrus and honey profile to the wines. Rich in the mouth with a lovely, viscous texture and intense flavours - it's filled with citrus and white stone fruit - lemons, apricots and green apple which are juicy and lively but there is also a floral, scented edge full of white flowers, lavender and violets. Quite unusual but very moreish with a minty fresh finish that almost cleans the palate. A real discovery from this producer associated with fine Armagnacs. Seek out.
