Nearly golden in colour and offering ripe, honeyed tropical fruit aromas with hints of honey and butterscotch more than exotic, spicy botrytis. The hot, dry vintage produced a wine of lovely richness that, despite its lush, sugary weight, still managed enough of an elegant acid balance to carry it to a harmonious finish. It is undeniably pleasurable now but still has a long future ahead.
