Invicta, Xinomavro, Amyndeon, Macedonia, Greece, 2019

This medium-bodied, juicy red is made from the Xinomavro grape, aged for five months in 300L French oak barrels and a further year in bottle. Spicy and fragrant, it combines smoky raspberry and strawberry scents with a touch of chocolate. Fleshy cherry fruit and flecks of tobacco, herbs and spice emerge in the mouth, fresh and textured.
