24 months in old French oak. Dark, almost amber. Floral, honeyed, dried-apricot aromas: oxidative, but fresh. Very intense, weighty palate: oak, lemon, dried apricot and spice; mouthfilling creaminess pierced by acidity. Just slightly hot on the finish.
