A characterful wine from a characterful producer, this is consistently one of the best expressions of Welschriesling I taste each year. Each barrel is bottled separately (the wine is named after its vessel) for a very pure and direct expression of the volcanic plots this fruit grows on. Lemon zest, yellow apple and strudel flavours are coated by a delicious and fine layer of honey. A white wine for rich meat dishes.
