A blend of Merlot, Sangiovese and Pinot Nero, this IGT Ravenna is deliciously, ripe and fresh, making it a great food wine. It has slightly smoky, plummy, chocolatey notes with aromatic red fruit scents. In the mouth it has a focused, ripe red fruit attack which softens into plum, blackberry, smoke and chocolate. The acidity is slightly tangy with lovely cleanliness.
