Ponte del Diavolo, Sauvignon Blanc, 2014

Drinking Window: 2016 - 2017
A simple yet effective wine, the name of which comes from the local medieval bridge which, legend recalls, the Devil offered to build in exchange for the soul of the first living thing to cross it. Sending an animal across was a great move by the locals! This wine has cool, crisp notes of gooseberry and citrus. The palate has some lovely notes of mango alongside the elderflower and citrus. For enjoying with fish pie or sipping on its own on a hot day.
