Andrea Careglio leads this family estate in Baldissero d'Alba, with great vineyards in the best plots such as Valmezzana and Costa Bella. Mostly clay-limestone soil with a great proportion of sand, this 2018 is light and not too concentrated. The light, leafy nose with strawberry fruit, however, is fairly typical of the vintage. It has a smooth palate with a tight finish, balanced and savoury. To drink and drink again!
