The estate’s classic Barolo is assembled from younger vines – 15 to 20 years old – in the Verduno subdistricts of Boscatto, Campasso, Massara and Monvigliero. It expresses itself with energy and charm in 2022. Attractive fragrances suggest cardamom and juniper on a red berry backdrop. Medium in weight, the palate is frisky and fresh, with pomegranate-like fruit and tannins which lend a crisp bite, lingering on the finish with potpourri prettiness. An enticingly immediate proposition.
