Gorrini is the signature expression of Roero from Deltetto family estate, one of the best in Roero. After a relatively short maceration on the skins for approximately 10 days, the wine ages in oak barrels for 18 months and another six in bottle. A bright cherry aroma is melded with coffee ground whiffs, while on the palate the fruit is riper, cherry jam-like but in a positive, fresh way and enhanced by a floral touch. This generous fruit is balanced by a fierce structure which is too austere at the moment.
