Fletcher X12, Langhe, Piedmont, Italy, 2012

89
Tasted by: Ian D’Agata
Drinking Window: 2014 - 2020
Deep and dense yet juicy, with chocolate and coffee notes complementing rich red cherry fruit. It finishes with building sweetness and ripe tannins. I normally hate Nebbiolo- Cabernet-Merlot blends, but young Australian winemaker Dave Fletcher has come up with a winner here.
