Spending four years in large barrels, this cellar selection of 85% Nebbiolo and 15% Vespolina has a fragrant woody aroma with some pretty cherry. Intense and fresh in the mouth, juicy cherry, strawberry and those wood notes are contained within a compact frame with some subtly grippy tannins. This requires another year or so in the bottle to properly harmonise, but promises delicious drinking over the following decade.
