Marina Marsaglia produces this well known cru, Brich d'America in the higher part of Castellinaldo, close to the boundary with Canale village where the soil is characterised by sand and fossils. Her 2018 vintage is ambitious, with evidence of toasted oak, graphite and strawberry aromas, followed by a soft palate with weight, a silky texture and good length - and just a touch of dryness on the finish.
