Bright, rich scents of apricot skin, pineapple, mango and lychee lead into a super-fresh and energetic palate. It's deep but not concentrated, providing complexity but also drinkability. There's some subtle grip and lovely floral lift, with a sapid, saline ending. Will be great with smoked fish. A blend of Minnella, Carricante, Catarratto, Inzolia and Grecanico from plots on Etna's north slope, co-fermented on the skins then aged in concrete plus 20% in tonneaux.
