2014 was a successful year for Sicily, producing wines of excellent quality. Approaching its tenth birthday, this Carthago displays dried cherry, wood and leather aromas. Big acidity is joined by delicate raspberry coulis and wild strawberry flavours, with fine-grained tannins giving structural support. Balsamic, spicy and leathery, it's now beginning to show tertiary aromas and flavours of forest floor.
