A coup of sorts for M&S, as this is the UK's first varietal Nerello Cappuccio, made by Cantine Settesoli. Cherry jam, floral and flinty mineral notes continue on the palate, which lacks the acidity and fruit tannins that are usually provided by its traditional blending partner of Nerello Mascalese. Worth a try.
