The St Magdalener Classico denomination of Alto Adige produces some of the region’s most delicious reds. Majority Schiava, with 15% Lagrein and a dash of Pinot Nero, this is beautifully fragrant, full of sweet wild strawberry and raspberry fruits and a swirl of caramel. Fresh acidity and great precision. Charming.
