Banfi's Brunello is instantly recognisable to many Sangiovese fans. Fermented in the estate's hybrid French oak and stainless steel tanks, then matured for 24 months in a combination of French oak casks and barriques. Fleshy and aromatic yet youthful and tightly coiled, it's quite concentrated, balsamic and spicy. Bitter-edged red and black fruits lead to a chocolatey, peppery finish.
