This early vintage of Vistamare (first vintage 2009) is composed of around 60% Viognier and 40% Vermentino, giving it a different character to later vintages when Fiano was added. Honeyed and full, with wax and lanolin scents, it has a savoury mushroomy palate with a touch of sweet citrus peel and a gentle undertow of limey acidity. Hints of tropical fruits emerge on the fresh finish.
