This vintage was characterised by a long ripening window,' explained the estate's vintage report. 'The result was a great balance between sugar and acidity at the end'. The wine is rich and multifaceted. Mint and milk chocolate, a well integrated vegetal touch and the evidence of 80% new oak employed for 18 months of ageing. Creamy tannins with refreshing acidity are very well handled giving tension to the drinking. Clove and sweet tobacco finish are still to be better integrated with the fruit.
