The light copper-pink colour comes from gentle pressing to avoid Sangiovese’s high tannins. The aromas reveal a more mature dried fruit character, but on the palate the wine is still youthfully vibrant with fresh minerality and redcurrant fruit of almost ephemeral delicacy, wrapped around the firm Sangiovese structure. The second rosé vintage from this estate in northern Tuscany, where they feel the wine benefits from some ageing before release.
