Among the new generation of winemakers in Valpolicella, Paolo Creazzi is an outstanding talent. From less than five hectares of vineyard in Fumane, his wines typify the tight smoky and spicy style of Classico’s westernmost valley. His Amarone Riserva shows a wave of candied and dried fruit aromas with hints of tobacco, spice, dark chocolate and freshly ground coffee. Juicy, ripe and luscious with fleshy fruit flavours, firm acidity and fine tannins, it's presented in an upright yet relaxed style. A pretty complete wine that is nearing its peak.
