Garganega, the variety used to produce Soave, is high yielding, which means there are lots of so-so wines out there, tarnishing the image of quality examples, particularly those from the Soave Classico zone. This one, made by Castellore, is great value for the price, offering notes of yellow apple, peach and gentle almond tones.
