Chiaro means light or pale in Italian and this is indeed a delicate blush pink. To taste however, it is extremely dry and quite forceful in its rapier-like acidity, which is moderated somewhat by its juicy nectarine and cherry flavours. A bracing aperitif, but a better option with food.
