Despite being a decade old, this still demonstrates impressive potential for further cellaring. Notes of chocolate, roasted coffee bean and plum on the nose lead into a wonderfully firm palate with finely-woven, noble tannins holding court. Aromas reappear with supreme concentration on the palate, accompanied by a delicate sweet-spice nuance.
