The Cantina Valpantena co-operative has produced a lovely wine here, although at 15.5% you may want to make sure you're sat down first! Sweet macerated cherry flavours are framed by sturdy wood, with the big alcohol quite well balanced by a rich, sweet, chocolatey finish. This is best with food, so try it with a stew or casserole.
