Elephant Hill, Element Series Sea Sauvignon Blanc 2016

The Element Series is a limited-edition, terroir-focused wine range to showcase fruit from a specific site – here the shingle soils of the coastal Te Awanga vineyard. Half the grapes were fermented in 500L puncheons and the wine spent 16 months on lees, giving creamy complexity and spice to the grassy, saline, tropical fruit palate. Elegantly structured.
