It may well have the longest wine name ever, but this is a good-value Cabernet Sauvignon-based Bordeaux blend. Fermented in old concrete vats, it retains pure black fruit flavours, with hints of aniseed and smoky oak notes from 50% of the wine maturing for 16 months in new oak. Raspy tannins and lively acidity give an engaging mouthfeel.
