From the driest vintage on record, this is a fragrant, juicy wine, with aromas of grapefruit, sweet lime and jalapeño leading to a fine-textured palate with bright citrus fruit, fresh herbs and a touch of tomato stalk. Vibrant acidity drives a stony, dry finish with decent length.

The original cult Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc has plenty of company now, but it remains a luminous star of the genre, with the current vintage full of energy, drive and clarity of expression, a mouthwatering mix of guava zing, citrus tang and blackcurrant leafy cool.
