The F-Series is winemaker Andrew Headley's limited-edition experimental range. Fruit is part whole-bunch pressed and part given skin contact, before 90% wild-yeast lees ageing in acacia and oak barrels for 10 months. With bold orchard fruit, sweet orange notes and a savoury, earthy mouthfeel, it's far from the standard Sauvignon Blanc profile but a delicious wine all the same. The classic Marlborough Sauvignon is also good, but adventurous wine lovers won't mind paying for this exciting drop.
