Austria's Zweigelt grape gets a Kiwi makeover with this enjoyable expression from Seifried – the estate's founder Hermann Seifried emigrated from Austria to NZ in 1971. He describes 2024 as perhaps the best vintage of his lifetime and this shows lovely fruit expression; plums, boysenberries and cherries with hints of florality and spice. Great freshness and tension throughout.
